Bessie Patterson Gilstrap Easley, South Carolina Bessie Patterson Gilstrap, age 94, passed away Tuesday May 13, 2014. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Rice’s Creek Baptist Church, Liberty. She was predeceased by two sons; Stan and Steve Gilstrap and one daughter; Toni Evans. Surviving include one daughter; Nancy Fant and husband Frank of Easley, one son; Kenneth Gilstrap and wife Gail of Liberty, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held 2pm Friday at Westview Cemetery in Liberty. The family would like to thank the staff of Hope Health & Rehab of Marietta & Ark Hospice for their loving care. Memorials may be made to Ark Hospice, 101 Grace Drive, Easley, South Carolina 29640. The family will be at their respective homes. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Gilstrap family.
