Mr. Charles Edward Clark, son of the late Beotris and Louise Clark, departed this life on April 26, 2017. He was born in Washington, GA on July 13, 1944. He was a member of Griffin Ebenezer Baptist Church and was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary M. Clark, of Pickens; a daughter Charlotte (Michael) Clark of Liberty, SC; a son, Charles E. Clark, Jr. of Pickens; four sisters, Lenora J.C. Terry of Alexandria, VA, Linda Holley of Washington, DC, Gladys (Ezzie) Clark Downing of District Heights, MD, and Mary (Michael) Malloy of Bryans Roaz, MD; one grandson, Michael Andrew Gantt, Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Mr. Clark was also predeceased by two brothers, Robert Clark and Clarence Clark. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home with a celebration of life following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will be at their respective homes.
