Claudia Frances Cooper Pickens, South Carolina Claudia Frances Cooper, age 66, wife of the late Willie Cooper, went to be with the Lord Friday April 17, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Cooper was born in Gladys, Virginia the daughter of the late Sarah Tomlin Banton and Howard Banton. Survivors include two step daughters; Cindy Cooper Hall of Pickens, Diane Cooper McCall (Lee) of Six Mile, two brothers; Clyde Banton (Barbara) of Hampton, Virginia, Leslie Banton (Lavernia) of Newport, Virginia, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be 1:30 pm until 2:45pm Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Dillard Funeral Home with a chapel service to follow at 3pm. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. Mrs. Cooper was predeceased by her parents, husband, one step daughter; Lisa Ann Cooper, two sisters; Grace Banton Mason, Elizabeth Hudgins, and brother; Vernon Banton. The family will be at the home. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Cooper family.
