

Dakota Jacks Pickens, SC Dakota Jacks was the son of George Barry and Lyle Patricia Hendricks Jacks. He was born in Easley, SC on April 1, 1999. He attended Pickens High School, where he was an Honor Student and member of the rising sophomore class. He was involved in numerous activities at school, including Junior ROTC, Beta Club, and Blue Line Bluegrass. He was a member of Pickens View Wesleyan Church where he was actively involved in the 512 Student Ministry. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family. He also spent his summers ministering to special needs children. Survivors include his parents, his brother Dylan Matthew Jacks of Easley and Dylan's fiancé Jessie Fickenworth. Also surviving are his Grandparents Patricia Hendricks (widow of the late P. Sherman Hendricks) of Easley, Robert and Virginia Wilson of Canon, GA, and George and Louise Jacks of Piedmont. In addition are a number of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the Heritage Hall of Pickens View Wesleyan Church with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 PM in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Easley Hospital Foundation for Pediatric TEAM Center or to the youth group of Pickens View Wesleyan Church. The family is at the home.
