

Edith Marguerette Pace Pickens – Edith Marguerette Trotter Chapman Pace, 89, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, September 19, 2016. Mrs. Pace was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Porter Trotter. She was retired from Sangamo Electric Company in Pickens and she was a member of The Pickens Church of God. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Marlene McCombs of the home, her son, Ricky Lee Chapman (Andree Susan) of Easley, step-daughters, Nancy Elaine Cantrell (Wallace) of Pickens and Anne Keech (Ron) of Anchorage, AK. Grandchildren include, Jerry Holden, Kevin Shane Chapman, and Nathan Holden, great grandchildren, Savannah Holden, Cheyenne Chapman, Lexie Moon, and Zachary Holden and a great great grandchild, Aaron Chapman. Mrs. Pace is also survived by a sister, Ida Mae Grant of Sunset. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pace was predeceased by her husbands, Homer Lee Chapman, and David Perry Pace, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 9:30 to 11 AM at Dillard Funeral Home with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
