Elizabeth W. Jones Pickens, South Carolina Elizabeth Wilson Jones, age 79, went to be with the Lord Monday August 29, 2016. Mrs. Jones was born in Cornelia, Georgia and is the daughter of the late Ora H. and Toona Wilson. Mrs. Jones was a clerk at the Pickens County Health Department for twenty nine years and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pickens. Survivors include her husband of fifty three years , Jerry Jones, one son; Russell Jones of Atlanta, one daughter; Leslie Brunson ( Michael) of Central, two brothers; Ken Wilson ( Dot) of Taylors, Maxwell Wilson ( Carolyn) of Pickens and two sisters; Joyce Clark of Lexington ,and Eunice Wilson of Pickens. Mrs. Jones also leaves in her memory two grandchildren. Mrs. Jones is predeceased by her brother; Roy Wilson. A grave side service will be held 11 AM Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens Memorial may be made to Grace United Methodist Church 309 East Cedar Rock Road Pickens, South Carolina 29671.
