

Lance was born in Greenville, SC on March 29, 1983 to Ronnie Lee George of Greenville and Cathy Diane Robinson of Easley. He was full of life, and you could always tell that by his infectious laugh and his smile that would light up any room. He always enjoyed a good joke, and you could find him joking around anywhere he went with anyone he met. Lance loved racing, and drove part time at Greenville-Pickens Speedway. His love of racing led to him being a huge Jeff Gordon fan, and a love for hot rod cars. He will be deeply missed by his family, extended family, and many friends. "To know Lance, was to love Lance".
In addition to his parents, Lance is survived by his fiancé: Haley Karr of Easley; a brother: Brent George of Greenville; a sister: Angel Thomason (Matt) of Greenville; his second father: Greg Porter of Greenville; four nieces and a nephew: Jade, Briana, Braylon, Ally, and Aubree; and his lifelong best friend: Mitchell Gosnell of Greenville.
Lance was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Gary C. Robinson; a maternal grandmother: Martha Haynes; a paternal grandfather: G.P. George; and a paternal grandmother: Dorothy George.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM on Saturday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
