

Hamp Holliday Pickens, SC Jesse Hampton Holliday, 82, of Shady Grove Road, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Six Mile, SC, he was the son of the late James Leo Holliday and Vera Catherine Bolding Holliday. Mr. Holliday was the retired owner and operator of Holliday Body Shop. He was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher and was a US Army Veteran. Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Ruby Keasler Holliday; two daughters, Paula Owens (Hank) of Pickens and Gina Stancil (David) of Sunset; a son, Mark Holliday (Tina) of Pickens; four grandchildren, Laura Roach of Irmo, SC, Will Roach of Easley, Justin Roach of Pickens and Jennifer Wilkins of Charlotte, NC; three great grandchildren, Quinn Thomas Wilkins of Charlotte, NC, RaeLynn McKenzie Roach of Pickens and Amelia Grace Fowlkes of Irmo, SC; two step grandchildren, Hunter and Kendall Weeks; and a sister, Faye Aiken. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Venell Lesley and two brothers, Thomas Holliday and Carlos Holliday. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Red Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the church.
