Mr. Larry W Shead

Larry was born in Pickens South Carolina, on November 2, 1948, to the late Willis and Frances Chambers Shead. He was a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church until his health declined. Larry loved to be outdoors either working in his garden or working on cars. He often could be found playing music or in the kitchen cooking up something for everyone to eat.

Larry is survived by one son: John Shead (Patty Stenger); one granddaughter: Andrea Rene' Shead; three siblings: Ronnie Shead, Brenda Moore, and Jennie Meeks.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann Shead; one son Eastel Shead; and one brother: Tommy Shead.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM on Friday May 23,2025 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service in the Garden Room from 12:45 to 1:45 PM.

Burial will follow at Mile Creek Baptist Church, located at 104 Lakeside Dr, Six Mile, SC 29682.
