Lavon "Bonnie" Stewart, age 84, of Easley, South Carolina passed away on Saturday May 19, 2018. "Bonnie" was born May 10, 1934 in Pickens, South Carolina to the late Dessie McNeeley Trotter and Luther “Luke” Trotter.
"Bonnie" is survived by; three daughters Linda Ramey (Ronnie) of Easley, Leslie Mayer (Mike) of Pelzer, Darnell Corley (David) of Columbia, two sisters; Hazel Turner and Reba Ellenburg both of Pickens and five brothers; Bill Trotter, Alton Trotter, Gene Trotter of Pickens, Mack Trotter and J.C. Trotter both of Easley. Bonnie also leaves seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren to share in her memory. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is predeceased by one son Steve Stewart and her husband Iva Cecil Stewart Sr.
“Bonnie” was employed by Platt Saco Lowell for some years and then she became a full-time homemaker. She was proud of her home and loved her family with all of her heart. She was known by many for her homeade meals and especially her biscuits. In her spare time, she enjoyed crosswords and being with her grandchildren.
A visitation for "Bonnie" will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 GENTRY MEMORIAL HWY, PICKENS, SC 29671. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 22, 2018 1:00 PM at , 2402 GENTRY MEMORIAL HWY, PICKENS, SC 29671. A burial will occur Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens, South Carolina.
