Pickens, SC – Lillie Juanita Morris Robinson, age 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 25, 2021. Ms Robinson was born in Pickens, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Vincen A. Morris and Ida Duckworth Morris.
Survivors include a daughter Lynn Robinson (Tony Bailey) from Simpsonville, South Carolina and their two children Camryn and Kyle Bailey. Also surviving are brothers Thomas A. Morris (Gail) and Walter M. Morris (Hilda) both from Pumpkintown, SC and a sister Nellie (Rosa Lee) Dailey from Flat Rock, Michigan. Ms Robinson leaves behind many precious and loving nieces and nephews.
Ms Robinson was predeceased by a sister Margaret Ziemann; two brothers Charlie Leo and James Robert Morris and an infant brother Eitel Ray Morris.
Ms Robinson was strong in faith and a member of Slater Church of God in Marietta, SC and was very active in her church community. She was considered to be a very independent and strong woman. She loved her family to a fault and would do anything for them. She was known for her fried okra among other dishes. Most of all she loved to read and possesses many books.
A graveside service will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2 PM 3450 Table Rock Road Pickens, SC 29671.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her honor to the Slater Church of God 105 Woodland Road Marietta, SC 29661.
