Mrs. Durham was born in Salem, South Carolina on September 21, 1936 to the late James Terrell and Florence Moss Bryant. She was a homemaker, devoted to her family, and a devout Christian lady. In her free time, Mrs. Durham enjoyed doing word search puzzles. She attended Antioch Baptist Church, when her health allowed her to. She was blessed to have been part of five generations during her lifetime and was the last surviving family member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Durham is survived by her a son: Terry Durham (Karen) of Six Mile; and three daughters: Shelia Broom (Rickey), Karen Cison (Erik), and Amy Hendricks (Michael), all of Pickens. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Melissa, Adam (Brandi), and Levi (Jo Leigh); seven great-grandchildren: Ashlyn (Keith), Adrianna, Andrew, Westan, Haghan Rae, Cade, and a baby girl to arrive soon; three great-great grandchildren: Kennadee, Jasper, and Dominic; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband and her parents, Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Holly Durham; a brother: James Elton Bryant; and a sister: Macie Lee Swayngham.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 16, 2022 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM on Friday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
