Born in Seneca, SC on March 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Annie Kathleen Keith Sanders. Mary was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Easley where she was a member of the Lucille Searcy Sunday School Class and was actively involved in the Sweet Spirits. She retired from BI-LO after 30 plus years of faithful service and was known by her grandchildren as MeMe, which is a name she was proud of because she chose it for herself.
In addition to her loving husband of 54 years, Mrs. Pace is survived by two daughters: Amanda Pace Edwards (Shane) of Clover, SC and Anna Pace Yarborough (Alex) of Ocoee, FL; a son: Scott Pace of Easley; two grandchildren who were the "lights of her life": Andrew Ray Edwards of Clover, SC and Ava Caroline Yarborough of Ocoee, FL; and one sister: Gaynelle Greene of Gaffney, SC.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery. The Graveside Services will also be available via livestream by visiting Dillard Funeral Home's Facebook page.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 309 Pelzer Highway, Easley, SC 29640.
