Pelzer, SC – Mr. Robert Otis Arnold, age 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 6, 2021. Mr. Arnold was born in Pickens County, South Carolina and was the son of the late John Thomas Arnold and Essie Trotter Arnold and husband to the late Jo Ann Phillips Arnold.
Survivors include his son Robert Arnold Sr. (Robin S. Arnold) and grandchildren Lori Ann Acker; Dr. Lisa Cobb; Robert L. Arnold Jr.; Thomas W. Arnold; Alexandria Ashley Arnold and step granddaughters Jessica Wells Draisen, Kimberly Zaborvan and families. Mr. Arnold leaves behind many precious and loving great grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Arnold was predeceased by a daughter Sherrill Chappell Arnold, his twin brother William Thomas Arnold and two sisters Avanell Arnold Archie and Nanny Mae Ramey.
Mr. Arnold was a private person. Quiet and reserved. He served in the United States Air Force. He loved his Lord and enjoyed witnessing to others. He loved to worship with Reverend Jimmy Swaggart on Sundays. He was a fisher man and could not pass up Big Boy’s Buffett.
