Robert was born in Easley, South Carolina, on August 4, 1965, to Jimmy Taylor (Rene Taylor) and the late Marlene Mann. Robert was a person who always looked out after others rather than himself. He was the owner and operator of SC Restorations. Robert loved building and painting cars and even building model cars. He enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, drag racing, or watching some of his favorite TV shows, Oak Island, Street Outlaws or American Restoration. What Robert cherished most, was the time he spent with his family and watching and supporting them in whatever they were doing. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
Robert is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dana Taylor: two sons: Nick and Jacob Taylor; three step brothers: Michael, Roger, and John Wayne Mann; and one step sister: Sonya Richardson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends prior to the services from 1:30 to 2:45 PM in the Garden Room.
