Roger proudly served in the United States Air Force. He retired as a welding mechanic and is a member of Mile Creek Baptist Church in Six Mile, South Carolina.
Survivors include his wife Gail of 43 years, three sons; Samuel Elliott (Brandi) of Six Mile, South Carolina, Roger Dale Elliott Jr. (Regina) of Jacksonville, Texas, Jeffery Elliott (Sarah) of Longview ,Texas, a brother; John Wayne Elliott of Mountain Rest, South Carolina, a sister; Elnora Elliott (Ray) of Pickens, South Carolina, three grandchildren; Brody and Logan Elliott of Six Mile, South Carolina, J.R. Elliott of Texas and two sweet sister-in-law’s; Joy and Jan. Roger is predeceased by his parents and a brother; Eugene Elliott.
A visitation will be held at Mile Creek Baptist Church 104 Lakeside Drive Six Mile South Carolina, Saturday May 5, 2018 1pm until 2:30pm. Service will be held at the church at 3pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
