Greenville – Ruth Winchester Stewart, 90, widow of Robert Stewart, Jr. passed from this life. Mrs. Stewart was born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Homer E. and Ollie Mae Alexander Stewart. She was retired from Ryobi in Pickens and she was a member of Stamp Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter Nancy E. Stewart of the home, brothers, Harold Winchester of Six Mile and James C. Winchester of Greenville and a sister-in-law, Pearl Winchester of Salem. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her son, Larry Stewart, brothers, William Winchester, Daniel Winchester, Elbert Winchester and by sisters, Nora Mae Oliver, Lillie Batson, Florine Traynham, Louise Winchester, and Edna Barton.
