Born February 28, 1946, in Easley, he was the son of the late William Roy and Aquilla Mae Duncan. He was a former member of Daystar Baptist Church and began each morning with scripture, grounding his day in faith. He was a jack of all trades and a master of kindness. Tony enjoyed working with his tools around the house that he built and his family knew if anybody could fix it, it was him. He was a Freemason as well as a Shriner. Employed with Baptist Easley Hospital, he retired after 18 years of service. His family was his joy, and his legacy is unmatched.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Kristin Duncan; daughter Teresa Cox (Brian Corbin); five sons: Tony Duncan Jr. (Stacey), Jansen Priest (Ariella), Klinton Priest, Drake Duncan, and Dalton Duncan; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and one on the way; three siblings: Shirley Garren, Sybil Parsons, and Hoyt Duncan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tami Hemphill; two granddaughters, Caycie and Cheyene Cox; and seven siblings.
A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina 29671, on March 12, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
