

Born February 7, 1963 at Welch, she was the daughter of Bessie Lester Morgan of Centerville and the late Raymond “Ray” Morgan
She was a teacher with Wyoming County Board of Education having taught both at Baileysville High School and Pineville Middle School and attended the Cook Memorial Baptist Church. Sharon enjoyed going to the beach, camping, listening and dancing to music, and going to the movies.
Sharon thought watching the WVU Marching Band enter the field was an exciting time and it was her favorite part of going to WVU football games. She also enjoyed being with family and friends. She loved going to family gatherings, especially the 4th of July at Smith Mountain Lake and the State Fair always had a special place in her heart.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert W. Morgan and a sister, Teresa Diane Morgan.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Greg Chafin of the residence, two daughters, Cheyanne Chafin and Whitney Chafin; mother, Bessie Morgan of Centerville; a sister, Debbie Hall and her husband, Van of Saulsville; mother-in-law, Betty Chafin of Pineville; brother-in-law, Chris Chafin and his wife, Mary of Morgantown; three nephews: nephews, Levi Hall and wife, Ashley and children, Avery and Ava of Saulsville; Logan Hall and wife, Savannah and daughter Sailor of Saulsville and Spencer Chafin of Morgantown. Three nieces, Jessica Hammack, Alyssa Chafin and Tessa Chafin all of Morgantown. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who she loved dearly.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Keith Reed and Pastor Bill Rose officiating.
Burial will follow in the Morgan Family Cemetery, Centerville.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the funeral home
