

Carolyn J. (Schatzel) Baehr of Allison Park was reunited in heaven with her loving husband of 57 years Leo and her infant son Gregory on April 26, 2023. Carolyn was born on October 27, 1943, to the late Alcuin Schatzel and her beloved late mother Henrietta (White) Schatzel.
She will be missed by her children; Leo G., Jeffrey C. (Erin), Patrick V. (Christy), and daughter Michele Kalinsky. She took immense pride in her grandchildren; Brian (Shanyn) O’Leary ll, Magdelyn Baehr, Alexandra Baehr, Lauren Baehr, Lucas Baehr, Evan Baehr, Courtney Baehr, Caitlyn Baehr, and Gregory Baehr. Carolyn leaves behind her sisters and brothers; Anna Mae (George) Jones, Marilyn (Phil) Caul, Kathleen (Harry) Gordon, Alcuin (late Barbara) Humphrey, Diane (Anthony) Bisesi, Anthony (Kirsten) Huckestein. She is preceded in death by her sister Mary and brother Mike.
She will be dearly missed by her loving fur baby Missy.
Carolyn had an extraordinary heart; she was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be remembered for her complete devotion and love for her family. She was a “Culinary Genius" when it came to Thanksgiving Dinners and Pasta. She enjoyed attending sporting events and gatherings with her family and friends. Carolyn retired from the United States Post Office after many years of service.
Friends are invited to the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh PA 15237 on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at St. Aidens Church 10090 Old Perry Hwy, Wexford PA 15090 at 10AM. Burial at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
