Cathy Ann Grove Fiscus

Cathy A. (Grove) Fiscus, 67 of Ross, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was the beloved wife for 49 years of James R. Fiscus; loving mother of James R. Fiscus, Jr. and Theresa “Tia” (Todd) Holdorf; grandmother of Allie, PFC Samuel, Ben, Dylan and Olivia; great grandmother of Ryan. She is also survived by a brother, Gary (Arline) Grove of Goosecreek, SC and a sister, Diane (George) Grove-Ackerman of Kent, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Grove and Faye Aileen Grove-Corle, as well as her step-father, Emil Corle.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a bank teller with Equibank and Pittsburgh National in Bellevue, then went on to work for PACE Warehouse and Sams Club as a vault manager. She was a member of St. Athanasius Church. She also had a special place in her heart for her miniature schnauzers. Friends will be received Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm in the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave, Avalon, 412-766-5600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10am in St. Athanasius Church, 7 Chalfonte Ave, West View.
