She was proceeded in death by her husband of sixty one years William E. Welcher. Mrs Welcher is survived by her two children Anita Stringert of Allison Park, Pennsylvania and Andy Welcher of Charlotte, North Carolina. Three Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
She was born in Charleston, West Virginia on November 26th, 1932 and established residences throughout her life in Pittsburgh, Pa , Cleveland, Ohio and Houston, Texas. While in Houston she and her Husband were active members of Kingwood Presbyterian Church. Upon moving back to Pittsburgh, PA she became a member of Elfinwild Presbyterian Church.
She loved meeting and engaging with people and animals of all types held a special spot in her heart. She also loved handwork producing quilts and other fine crafts.
