Gerald N. Caskey

He was a retired U.S. Army veteran and pastor of five churches (three in Pennsylvania, two in Alabama). Gerald is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Debra A. Caskey (Davis), sons John L., Jeremy D. (U.S. Air Force), and Joshua N. Caskey (U.S. Marine Corps), and 12 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Berna L. Caskey, and son Joseph D. Caskey (U.S. Marine Corps, killed in action in Afghanistan). Gerald dedicated his life to his faith and ministry, finding joy in preaching sermons and reading and writing books. His love for his family was evident, setting a shining example of faithfulness to his Lord. On a lighter note, Gerald enjoyed his extensive library and cherished trips around the world with his wife Debbie.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m., and military honors at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home and officiated by Rev. Cody Freeman.

Private interment will be held at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in New Castle, PA.
