Holly M. Collins, of Ross Township passed away much too soon on Thursday, June 7, at the young age of 44. Her smile lit up a room and brought joy to all. Holly had a heart of gold. She was a dedicated and loving mother who always put others ahead of herself. Even after getting sick, she spent many hours encouraging and supporting patients with a similar diagnosis. Her greatest joy was spending time with her two sons, Tyler and Gracin, and focusing on her family. Holly graduated in 1991 from Seneca Valley High School and earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Westminster College in 1995. Holly’s vivacious personality led her naturally to a career in sales. Over the years, she held many different sales positions and spent the last 12 years as a sales representative with General Mills. She loved dogs, including her bulldog, Aphrodite, and the late Ruby and Bubba.
In addition to her sons and her loving husband, Brian, Holly is survived by her parents, Amber Richardson and Terry and Mary Richardson; siblings, Kara (Wayne) Richardson , Terry Richardson II and sister in-law Leslie (Ben) Craven, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp., 412-364-4444. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in SAINTS JOHN & PAUL ROMAN CATHOLIC PARISH, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road, Sewickley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Glimmer of Hope, via mail at: P.O. Box 908, Wexford, PA 15090 or online at: http://symbolofthecure.com/donate
