Irene (Grabowski) Milligan, age 85, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. Irene was born in Pittsburgh, PA. and grew up on the Northside, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Drongowski) Grabowski. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. Milligan and loving mother to Sharon (Richard) Hofman, Lynn Milligan and the late Louis (Karen and daughter Melissa) Milligan. She will be deeply missed by her granddaughter Meghan, her sisters; Stella (late Edward) Gasior and Virginia (late Richard) Pfeiffer.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a visitation for Irene on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237.
A Catholic Blessing Service will occur on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at St. Marys, 4000 Mount Troy Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15214.
