From childbirth till weeks ago you have always been there for me and been a huge part of my life Aunt Jean. A vital part of my life through so many, many changes in our families lives you were there and strong. Child hood memories and my entire life has been touched by you each and every day.  You might say if anyone has two Mom's I did. From John and I with our toad farms, so many overnight sleepovers  and all the way in every step of my life you were always so dear and caring which made me love you each and every day.  It has been 4 weeks now that my caller ID every Tuesday without fail since you moved from us here in Syracuse that my phone didn't ring and I see Jean Wickert.  I miss you as much as Becky and Ryan do.  I think of you every day, sorry it has taken so long for me to write, it has just been difficult,  your always in my thoughts every hour, Love you Aunt Jean,  YOUR MICKEY BABE

So very sorry to learn of Jean's passing.  It is always so difficult to lose a Mother, but you should find comfort in that she had a good long life and apparently did not suffer at the end.

I remember all the good times Bob and I had with your Mom and Dad.

If you have a service here in the future, I would like to attend.

I was so sorry to hear about Jeans passing. She was my neighbor for most of my life. Living across the street and then moving next door to her. She was such a kind woman, and a great neighbor. She will be missed in Orchard Village.

I am Carol Dixon's brother Jack.  Jean and Ed were long term friends of Carol and Chuck's. She was such an upbeat woman. I talked to her every Christmas as she continued to be a big sister to me.  We shared many old memories and secret's.  My wife Diane and I will miss her.  My father Stan Dwyer worked with Howard (Jean's father) on the railroad.  Even back then, as a kid we enjoyed Howard and Ann Remmy's (sp) family.  We still keep tract of sister Betty who lives in the same city of Tampa.  She is not doing well. My sister Carol lived in the same complex before moving back to Syracuse.where she died in May of last year .  I can see that Jean had a broad spectrem of people of all ages, (she was always young at heart)  that have submitted guest book entries. She died the same day of the year as my mother 22 years later.  I am sure that Mom was standing next to St. Peter to welcome Jean.  I would be happy to share my memories of Sweet Jean. I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom.  Your parents were friends with my parents, Don and Marguerite Barfoot and my aunt and uncle, Pink and Louis LaVallee.  I did love hearing your Mom laugh.

I had the pleasure of bowling with Jean for many years in the late 1970's thru early 1980's and got to know her very well. We kept in touch by phone or with Christmas cards up until her move from Camillus. I will always cherish the wonderful memories of this caring, fun loving, warm woman. May she rest in peace. As a young nurse in the ER at Community General, Jean and I spent 4 days and 3 nights during the blizzard of '66. She was a wonderful person to work with and I have many fond memories of our time together working. May she rest in peace.....
