Lana Jean Dumrauf

Lana Jean "L.J." Dumrauf, age 60 of Laurel Gardens, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in Allegheny General Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was born on January 2, 1956, daughter of Joela C. and the late Jimmy Young of Cochranton, PA. Loving Life Partner of Michael F. Jencka for 23 years. Sister of Thomas (Vanessa) Dumrauf of Mercer, Michael (Pamela) Vuletich of Prospect, Stephen Vuletich of Florida, and Diane Vuletich of New Mexico. Daughter- in-law of Lois and the late Frank Jencka. Sister-in-law of Francine Konen of Oklahoma, David (Stephanie) Jencka of North Carolina, Mary Ellen (Thomas) Moeller of McCandless and Theresa (Frank) Fischer of McCandless. Also survived by her Goddaughter Maura and several nieces and nephews. Lana retired after 42 years as an Administrative Assistant for the Pittsburgh Presbytery Office. She also worked 19 years as an usher for the Civic Arena and the Consol Energy Center. She loved gardening, the Penguins, bingo and Las Vegas. Friends will be received Monday from 2-8 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township (412-364-4444). Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM in Northmont United Presbyterian Church, 8169 Perry Highway in McCandless Township with the Rev. Dr. Sheldon W. Sorge officiating. Burial will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Western PA Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
