Larry served in the United States Army and was a verteran of the Korean War. Big Lar worked at Gimbels department store in Pittsburgh, PA for over 25 years. He started out working in the stock room and over time, was promoted to a Divisional for the department store.
Big Lar is predeceased by his loving wife Joanne and his parents, Emilio and Angelina Pasquinelli.
He is survived by his brother, Louis Pasquinelli, sons, Lawrence M. Pasquinelli II and Michael L. Pasquinelli, his daughter-in-law, Dawn, his “adopted son,” James Affeldt, and grandchildren, Zachary, Maxwell and Jaden Eliza. Additionally, he is survived by his sister-in-laws, Marianne (Honey) Ellenberger and Carole Rozanski, brother-in law, Joseph W. Rozanski, Dr. Hank Payan and favorite nephews/nieces Larry, Lou, Luanne, Debbie, Dale, Niecie, Rhonda, Joe and GiGi. He also had many favorite great nieces and nephews and even more great great nieces and nephews.
The family wants to thank the staff at Shelbourne Personal Care and Paula Martin for their care and support for him over the years.
As a tribute to Big Lar, play The Gambler by Kenny Rogers and do some random act of kindness. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Saint Jude's Hospital.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial mass will be celebrated at a future time.
