Leona S Briski

Leona S. Briski, age 91, of West View, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2017. Loving mother of Darlene (Steve) Calhoun, Linda Jones and Robert (Nancy) Briski, Sr. Caring grandmother of Michele (Frank) D’Ambrosio, Randy (Georgeanne) Calhoun, Robert (Kari) Briski, Jr., Julie Briski, Jessica (Jason) Tomasula; adored great-grandmother of Vincent, Rocco and Natalie D’Ambrosio, Wesley and Whitney Calhoun, Ayla and Zara Briski, Quinn and Brooks Tomasula. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Leona (Burgard) Steup and in 1989 by her beloved husband of 43 years, Joseph J. Briski, Jr. Leona was an accomplished businesswoman and was actively involved in various business organizations during her career. She was a member of the West View United Methodist Church and will be most remembered for her lovely smile and sweet disposition. Friends will be received in the HP Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp., (412-364-4444) Saturday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A service will be held by Reverend Drew Sutton in the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 pm. Interment will be private.
