Lila Ada Burgess

Lila Ada (Legleitner) Burgess, age 98 of Zelienople, formerly of Englewood, FL and Bridgeville, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019. She was born December 19, 1920 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Harold F. and Ada (Johnston) Legleitner. She was the loving wife of the late Norman G. Burgess. Beloved mother of Donna J. (Dennis) Scheletsky, David G. (Linda) Burgess and Mark N. (Cheryl) Burgess. Grandmother of Adam (Gretchen) Scheletsky, Christopher (Jessica) Burgess, Lane Burgess and Kent Burgess. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrle Bain and Florence Davidson. Lila was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 3rd at 11 am in the Seaman Memorial Chapel of Passavant Retirement Community. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Lutheran Senior Life Foundation Benevolent Fund, 105 Burgess Dr., Zelienople, PA 16063.
