Louis P. Falvo

Age 82, of McCandless, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, while surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband for 59 years of Sarah T. (Raso) Falvo; loving father of Frank and Nancy Falvo, Kay and Nino Falvo, Rita and Jim Barnes and Lena and Paul Lyle; grandfather of Anthony, Heather, Danielle, Chris, Nichole, Joe, Katrina, Alisha, Matt, Jacki , Gina, Alexandra, Michelle, and Maxx; great-grandfather of Giovanni and Amelia; brother of Teresa DeMarco of New York City and the late Frank Falvo. Louis was born May 29, 1930 in Sambiase, Calabria, Italy, a son of the late Francesco and Catrina Falvo. Louis was a veteran of the United States Army and was a 32nd Degree Mason at North Hills Lodge #716. He was loving provider for his family and was a successful businessman. Louis spent his last years in the exceptional care of the staff at Arden Courts and Gateway Hospice. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Friends will be received on Friday, July 6 from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc. 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. 412-364-4444. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30am in the St. John Neumann Church.
