Orastio Scoumis

Orastio Scoumis, age 88, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania went peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021. Orastio was born July 11, 1933 in Canonsburg PA. He was the son of the late Costis and Helen (Scouloukas) Scoumis. Orastio was surrounded by many well known people in Canonsburg "The Sarris's" and "Perry Como".

The loving father of; Orestes J. Scoumis, Donna Scoumis Riley, Kathy Scoumis Landsittel, Connie Scoumis Bulgarelli, Ann Mackrella, Kathy Goysovich, Christina Dedrick, John Buckoske, Patricia Fiorenzo, David Buckoske. Left behind to honor his legacy are his 16 grandchildren; 13 great great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

He was the husband of the late Martha Ranovich and the late Doris Riley

He is preceded in death by his siblings; Dimitrio Scoumis, Ourania Kallas, Vasillos Scoumis, Iphigenia Mavrogiania, Marsha Scoumis, Petro Scoumis, Triantafyllos Scoumis, Xanthipi Miller.

Orastio was a retired Culinary Chef, he enjoyed the simple things in life good food, the company of good friends and family. He was a proud Army Veteran, and loved to watch the Pittsburgh sport teams.

Orastio will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
