Randall E.L. Falck

Randall E. L. Falck "Randy" went to be with the Lord December 4, 2010. He was born March 17, 1962. A 1980 graduate of North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA, Randy competed on the golf and swim teams. He continued his swimming journey at the University of Pittsburgh. Although a tragic accident left him a quadriplegic at age 20, he lived a vibrant and productive life, graduating from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, Laurinburg, NC in 1989. He quickly became a computer whiz. Randy was an enthusiastic reader of history. In 1990, he relocated to Ponte Vedra Beach. He was an avid sports fan, particularly for Pittsburgh teams. Randy was a compassionate and extremely generous man quietly helping individuals and supported the work of the Big Oak Wolf Sanctuary and the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, never asking for recognition. Although plagued by recurrent medical problems, Randy coped with tremendous courage, perseverance and humor. He was a valiant fighter to the end. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Falck; his older brother Robert B. Falck; and his stepfather Melvin E. Franc. He is survived by his mother, Daphne A. Franc; sister, Rebecca F. Wininger (David); stepbrother, Bruce J. Franc (Janine); nieces and nephew, Rachel, Nathan, Laura and Audrey Wininger. He will be sadly missed and remembered by a loving family and many caring and committed friends and caregivers whom he deeply loved and appreciated. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 am until 12:30 p.m. at the H. P.
