Thomas “Tommy” Exler, 49, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 in Pittsburgh. He was born to Thomas W. Exler and Judy (Schubert) Exler on May 29, 1973 in Pittsburgh. He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Exler.
Tommy was a graduate of Vincentian High School, where he became captain of the basketball team. After high school, Tommy earned his Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Pittsburgh. Tommy loved baseball and was a loyal fan to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He even worked in security for the Pittsburgh Pirates team, and he loved every minute of it.
Tommy is survived by his father, Thomas W. Exler and his sister, Elana (Christopher) Gratz.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 10am at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 800 Avila Ct, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Interment to follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Ave, Allison Park, PA 15101.
