Age 81, of the North Side, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Janice E. (Rice); beloved father of Melody Ives, George (Rita) and Brian Bell; proud grandfather of Sophia and Blaise Bell; brother of Charmaine Baust. Bill was a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter for over 30 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a lifelong member of the Pittsburgh Chess Club.
