Wow Byron really pulled it off. I worked for Byron when I was 16 years old down at Gist Ornamental Iron Works in Lakeside he was a man who took his work and the quality of it all the way.  Also did lots of work for him at his horse corals.  I was just looking back and found this site. The internet was not really around and Im glad to see this picture of Byron on the horse. Brings me back.  Thank you.

I had the honor of caring for Micki for two-a-half years. I just found out Bryon passed in December. He was a man all his own. He allowed me to ride Dude one the most amazing horses Ive ever loved.

Rest in peace Byron, I know you and Micki are together again.

Sad to hear of the passing of Byron. He and my dad were about the same age. My dad enjoyed his company when Byron was here in Lakeside. Dad still wears the buckle Gary made and traded for that colt! So great that Byron was active all through his later years.
