Words cannot express what an honor it's been to watch your son and brother grow into a wonderful young man. He was a big part of our family and we will miss him dearly.

Dear McGee Family,
There aren't words to explain how sorry we are for your loss. CrossFit Inferno was the Crossfit family he had down in SLO. It was so great to have him as a member of our family. He was an amazing athlete, extremely strong, and constantly wante to better himself. When we heard the news, we decided to do what Crossfitters do to show our support: we workout and give up some sweat and pain or the cause at hand. Cory was our cause. We designed a memorial workout called "10-6-12: RIP CORY". It's a 40 minute workout in which you do as many rounds as possible of 10 hand stand push ups, 6 deadlifts at 315or 225#, 12 toes to bar and a 400m run even other round. we had over 150 people do Cory's workout between the SLO and Northern Inferno gyms. We had a few other gyms jump on and we had over 400 people do his workout. THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!  We miss Cory very much and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Cory, you would have loved this one man:)

Didn't know Cory as well as I would've liked but the 150+ athletes that completed his memorial WOD on Monday and Tuesday are a testament to his character and impact on his community. Rest in peace brotha. Godspeed.

Mike, Plyllis, Eli, Summer and Marissa : I sent my Spirit Bear to be beside my Cory in his new unknown travels at all times.  Cory knows Bear well, and I know they will find comfort within each other when needed. I wish I could mend our hearts in this pain, but that will be Cory's and Bear's job - in their own way and in their own time.  You know I am there,....always.
