Edward L. Sanders passed away Thursday August 22 from complications from diabetes. Ed was born in the Placerville Sanatorium to George and Dorothy Sanders. He is survived by his mother Dorothy, sisters; Marilyn, Carolyn, and Janice, brother Mick and ex wife and longtime friend Dee. He was preceded in death by his father George, sister LaReta, and his sons Chuck and Travis.
He was raised in Pollock Pines and attended local schools. Ed worked in the logging and construction industries locally until he retired.
Friends are invited to a Memorial Service being held Friday, August 30, 2013, at 1:00 pm, Chapel of the Pines Mortuary, 2855 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, CA.
