Gabriella Soares

March 10, 1924 - May 17, 2016

Gabriella Soares passed away peacefully at home after a long illness with her daughters at her side. Gabriella was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Joe Soares who passed away in 1984. She is survived by her loving children, Linda (late Michael) Campbell and Terri Puthuff (Dave Tucker). Devoted grandmother of Michael and Jen, Angela, Michelle and Sixto, Austin and Amber, Raymond, Darcie and Shelby and great grandmother of Dylan, Dustin, Braden, Colin, Ryder, Maia, Savanna, Juliette, Angel, Camillia, Jamaica and David. Also survived by her sister, Alice Lawrence.

Gabriella was a native of Crescent City, CA and moved to Placerville in 1976. She volunteered at Gold Bug Mine for seven years and was a member of the Golden Age at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

A Funeral Mass for Gabriella will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 3109 Sacramento St., Placerville, CA followed by interment at Westwood Hills Memorial Park, Placerville. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 24th at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Road, Placerville.
