Jimmy passed peacefully of natural causes in his home Tuesday, February 19th. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Evelyn Rago. He leaves behind his daughter Toni Bracali-Gambino, her husband Guy and their daughters, Cora, Francesca, Tiara and Mia; his sister, Janice (Phil) Rago-Gates and five nieces and nephews.
Jimmy worked at U C Berkeley as a journeyman baker. In 1968 he bought a bar and restaurant in Coloma and quickly fell in love with the area and its people. He continued in that business where he made lifelong friends and created many memories. He will be missed.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:30am, Rosary at 11:00, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Placerville, CA, followed by a Celebration of Life at the El Dorado Community Hall. When someone you love becomes a memory; Memories become a Treasure.
