Jay was born in Carl Junction, Missouri on Aug. 14, 1934. He passed away in his Placerville home on Tues Feb 8, 2011. He is survived by his wife Klova, of 40 years, twin sister Lenora Kay Javaut, of Bagdad, AZ, younger sister Elva La Vaughn Wentz of Diamond Springs, CA, son Larry D. Hall of Diamond Springs, CA, daughters Jennifer J McLoed of Diamond Springs CA, Sheri J Gragg of Jacksonville FL, Donna Blackwell of Fayetteville TN, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, along with cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation Tuesday, 2/15/2011, 4 to 6 pm, and Funeral Service Wednesday, 2/16/2011, at 1:00 pm, both at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville, CA. Interment to follow funeral at Westwood Hills Memorial Park. There will be a private family gathering following the service.
