Leon Perrigo

April 15, 1925 - June 9, 2013

Leon G. Perrigo, Minister of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 9, 2013 at the age of 88. Leon was born April 15, 1925, to Gilbert Jerome Perrigo and Esther Victoria Swenson. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, W. Jean Perrigo. He is survived by son, David Perrigo (Loren), daughter, Judy Conner (John), four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Leon was a church planter for 30 years in southern CA, and director of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Long Beach, CA. The family is grateful to Vitas and Snowline Hospice, Empire Ranch Alzheimer’s Facility, and Gold Country Retirement/Assisted Living for their loving care to Leon. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 15th, 11:00 a.m. at Westwood Hills Memorial Park, Placerville, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to El Dorado County Young Life, 3941 Park Dr., Suite 20461, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, Placerville.
