Mac went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, December 25, 2013. At 89 years of age he leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Grace and his children, Lynne Homme of Placerville, and twins Jim Johnson of Montana and Sue Homme of Riverside, CA. Mac is also survived by six grandchildren: Matt and Leslie Johnson, Chris Homme, Anne Gordon, Bree and Devon Homme, and one great grandson, Jackson.
Mac was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed physical labor and was always fixing something. He was an electrician by trade and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 340 for 60 years.
Mac was very active in the Church of the Nazarene and was always quick to help others. Mac served in WWII under General Patton, in central Europe, as a Sgt. in Combat Infantry.
