Nathan Wilson Choate

June 22, 1930 - October 6, 2015

Nathan “Nate” W. Choate passed away in his hometown of Stockton on October 6, 2015. Nate is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Cathie. Beloved father of Dennis (Shawn), Craig (Debbie), Bob and Steve (Christy) Choate. Devoted grandfather of Bryan, Bonny, Tanner, Reagan, Alex, Kelly and Kyle.

Nate was born in San Point, Idaho on June 22, 1930. After his family moved to California, he graduated from Fremont High School and the San Jose State with a degree in Business Management. Nate served in the US Army during Korea and spent his career in Real Estate and Appraisal and retired from World Savings and Loan as Appraisal Manager. In his retirement, Nate continued his love of boating and fishing.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 3109 Sacramento St., Placerville, CA followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery with Military Honors.
