Norma Lee Bourke

A former longtime resident of Castro Valley, California, Norma Lee Bourke was born on December 12, 1929 in Glenpool, Oklahoma and passed away on January 31, 2012 in Placerville, California. Norma is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years Hedley J. Bourke; daughters Karen Akiona (Al) of Modesto, CA, Marsha Jackson (Tim) of Placerville, CA, Jeanne Torrell (Frank) of Virginia Beach, VA, Lorie Reynolds (Randy) of Keller, TX; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; brother Earnie Brown (Phyllis), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Lavona Jones, father Elbert Brown, mother Grace Brown, and stepmother Gladys Brown. Norma was involved in Job's Daughters while her daughters were growing up, and she loved to sew, travel and read. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
