Bobby was last brother.  We had many many good times and I constantly relive them all.  When we were young we were hunting at Quinn's corral and Bobby shot an ear off a very large buck.  He carried that ear with him for many years.  He carried it in his wallet for good luck.  I think he was hopping one day to shoot that buck he missed that day.  He got many bucks but never that one.  He was a very loving and caring  man his concern for others less fortunate was at times overwhelming.  He always lived life to fullest and told me he had no regrets.  I hope when my time comes I can say the same.

Gale and other family members. I am so sorry I could not be at the memorial.  I first met Bob when he was 10 years old. That was just days after I married his cousin, John (Pete) Prouty, Metcalf.I really didn't get to know who Bob was until several months later when we went to Camino for the first time. Then I learned his passion for hunting and fishing. I kept hearing ,"Bob got his deer" Well, this city slicker had never tasted deer before. I had a wonderful time with the all of the Pirtles, that is until they put the roast on to cook. The smell of it made me so sick that I was actually green in the face. I really tried so hard not to let on but I did excuse myself and run to the bathroom once in a while. When we returned home I decided to go to the Dr. I found out I was a few weeks pregnant and I had morning sickness the whole 9 months. I guess the deer had nothing to do with it but I have never been able to eat deer meat ever since. Bob was always very sweet to me and When he introduced me to Gale I thought I had never seen a couple of kids more in love. They were made for each other. I'm so sorry he has passed on so young. he will be missed buy all of my family. Lovingly from Shirley, Craig, Cindy and John.

Robert was one of the nice guys, who was a classmate in our high school years. I send my condolences to the Pirtle families, and I know he will be greatly missed.

Bobert, no misspelling, this is what I called him.  Bobert is my brother-in-law.  I always thought of him as "Big Bad Bob" when I married into the Pirtle family.  But, that is a far cry from who he is.  He is a loving, caring, considerate person down inside.  When I was very ill, he kept giving me elk, antelope and venison, because I could not eat beef!  Bobert, I will always carry you in my thoughts and in my heart!  Your sister-in-law, whom you told "WE 3 PIRTLE'S ARE MARRYING YOU BECAUSE YOU KNOW HOW TO BUILD DOG HOUSES, CHICKEN COOPS, AND SHEDS"!  None were ever built.
