I grew up living next door to the Hawkins Family.
Tom & I learned to surf together back when we were so young we were too young to drive!! So our parents would take us to & pick us up from days of surfing @The Cliffs (Huntington Beach, Ca) all summer long :-)
That worked out for us most of the time... except when it was my mom that had dropped us off. & her turn to pick us up... eventually after it had been dark for hrs & we were freezing my dad would pick us up ~
I never lived that one down. lol
