Timothy R Walsh

WALSH - Timothy R. passed away on November 30, 2012 after a brief illness. Tim was the kind, gentle and beloved son ofGertrud Edgerly and the late Ralph Walsh. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister Leslie Purcell and her husband Dennis, their childrenColleen and Jonny Tenan, Elizabeth, Denny and Meggie, and Gertrud's husband Robert Edgerly. Tim was born on May 8, 1954 and graduated from Bethpage High School in 1973. After graduation, Tim joined the Bethpage School District as a custodian, spending most of his 38 years working there at the Central Boulevard Elementary School. Tim lived his life to the fullest, enjoying every moment of his time with family, his time at his work at Central Boulevard, and his time living independently. His work at Central Boulevard brought so much meaning, happiness and purpose into his life.In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Tim to: Central Boulevar School PTA, C/O Central Boulevard School,60 Central Boulevard, Bethpage, NY 11714. Memorial Visitation Monday from 7-9PM at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 655 Old Country Rd., Plainview.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
