Christina Jennie Petersen

She is survived by her daughter Leeann (John) Rounds, her sister Larina ‘Tia’ Moreland, her brother Tim (Jenny) Petersen, her niece Jennifer J Petersen, her niece Eryn Petersen, her niece Rebekah ‘Beka’ Hainz and son Noah Hainz, her nephew Joshua Biron, as well as extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Travis Rounds, her mother Willette ‘Billie’ Petersen, and her father Ejner Petersen.

Tina may have suffered from arthritis most of her life, but she did not let it stop her from enjoying family, friends, and adventures. The summer birthday trips with Travis and Leeann were her favorites. She would spoil Travis during the summers he spent with her in Texas. Tina also enjoyed taking her nieces on shopping trips whenever possible. Tina retired from the State of Michigan as a social worker. Tina really enjoyed horses and had pictures and statues of them in her house. Her ‘never give up’ attitude was infectious and an inspiration to all.

Tina did not want a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.

She will be missed greatly.
