Clyde William Jones, age 82, died at his home in Allen, TX on March 13, 2011. He was born September 15, 1928 to Clyde and Gladys Jones in Tulsa, OK. Clyde grew up in Tulsa and became an independent oil producer doing business primarily in the North Dakota area. After moving to Douglas County, Colorado, he went on to become a recognized historian for the Douglas County and Colorado areas. Clyde is survived by his wife Joni Houston-Jones, sister Doris Phillips, and brothers Fred Jones and Bruce Jones. No local services are scheduled. Cremation will be followed with scattering of his ashes in Colorado.
